The above pics show the immediate post op appearance after a long hair transplant .The patients own hair is grafted whilst long instead of shaved .This means, the usual appearance of new grafted scabs is masked by the long hair . As with the short hair grafts , these too will fall after about a month before regrowing a few months later.
This is technically more challenging , but offers an immediate albeit shortterm reward to the patient without jeopardising the long term results
